SwanQuake appropriates the language of games to construct an alternative universe and will be installed at V22 Ashwin Street, London 19 September- 3 November 2008.

BackStrikesEmpire

This twin screen installation explores the elemental forces of climate and its effect on geological formations, to reflect the interaction between people and landscape and illustrate the interpretation the human imagination places on the environment.

About igloo

Ruth Gibson & Bruno Martelli (photo: Timothy Copsey)

Based in London, Gibson & Martelli work together and often as igloo with international artists, including John McCormick and Adam Nash. Their practice is multifaceted ranging through installation, intervention, virtualisation, film and performance drawing on the multiple layers of reality and unreality. Much of their work is in recreating environments and systems where coding joins hands with choreographies of the body.

SummerBranch

Summerbranch is created for three gallery spaces and is composed of three parts: virtual environment, video installation and a set of lenticular and wall prints. The Summerbranch exhibition will be shown at V22 Ashwin Street, London 1-7 July 2008.
