the leaves move...
[full title] 'the leaves move the moves a wave these waves sway because they return because this tree stays the sea stays and this waves they sway'
Artist: michael DEAN
E:ventGallery is delighted to present an exhibition of new work by michael DEAN. DEAN's first solo show coincides with the publication of his new book ?black circle thats a hole'.
DEAN describes his practice as looking to appropriate a mechanics of experience in order to formalise methods of text delivery.
The work creates an axis, or dialectic of position across two planes of evidence: the artist in response to a taxonomy of indexical/residual patterns, and the audience in response to the artists redelivery of
this through text. Operating in isolation from each other artist and audience coordinate a landscape of reproduced experience.
