STUDIO VISIT

Cyril Lepetit

'Studio Visit' will present a selection of films by Cyril Lepetit, some of which have been compiled on a DVD entitled 'I am but a fragment devoid of meaning if I do not relate to other fragments.'

We will also see extracts from his installation Ladder and Sweets which was originally conceived for children and their parents. This installation was later reactivated in the context of the fashion world and most recently at the Arabic/Muslim cultural centre, Al Saqi Books & Kufa Gallery, Westbourne Grove.

He will also share the question he has been pursuing since his visit to the Sistine Chapel:
What would I create whilst lying on my back?

This questioning has led to a series of paintings and films he has developed entitled The Ceiling of Art.
